A recent study of 2000 men has found out that, perhaps unsurprisingly, no man actually rates his partner as perfect. Most men questioned rated their partner at a 7 out of 10. Interestingly, in a similar study aimed at women, men scored similarly non-perfect: most of the women rated their partners at around 69% “perfect”. Younger men (those under 25) tended to judge their partners more harshly, while those in their 50s were more appreciative of what they had. Those under 25 also believed in the concept of the “perfect woman”, which may explain why they were more likely to think their own girlfriend didn’t quite add up. As people get older, it seems they begin to realise there is no such thing as an 100% perfect person of any sex.
